British Invasion hits MUW

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Mississippi University for Women Foundation will present Come Together, a tribute to the legendary rock group The Beatles, Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the Rent Auditorium at 7 p.m.

Come Together is a re-creation of a concert performed during John Lennon’s 1964-1966 tours with The Beatles. The band features members of multiple Beatles tribute bands, comprising more than 20 years of Beatles tribute performances.  

Tickets are free and can be reserved by contacting the MUW Foundation at 662.329.7148. Donations to the MUW Foundation will be accepted.

The performance is funded by the Leslie Farrell Threadgill Lecture and Artist Series, an endowment established by her family to promote family and cultural influences, to advance the artistic and intellectual environment of the university and to strengthen the cultural bond between the university and the public.
