Destination Imagination state competition at MUW
COLUMBUS, Miss. – The state finals competition of Destination Imagination, a creative problem solving program sponsored by Destination Imagination Inc., will be held Saturday, March 28, on the Mississippi University for Women campus. The competition will begin at 10 a.m. and finish around 5 p.m. The event is hosted by the Roger F. Wicker for Creative Learning at MUW.
Teams from all over Mississippi comprised of students of all ages will compete for a chance to be chosen as one of the eleven teams selected to go on to the global finals, held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., at the end of May.
“Destination Imagination is a school and community-based program that teaches kids the process associated with creative problem solving,” said Rusty McCarty, vice president of creative programming of Destination Imagination Inc.
