Nawrocki’s prints accepted in exhibitions
COLUMBUS, Miss. - Tom Nawrocki, art professor at Mississippi University for Women, currently has prints in two art exhibitions.
They are featured in the 60th Anniversary Exhibition of Prints
sponsored by The Boston Printmakers at Smith College at the Jannotta Gallery in Northampton, Mass., and the 10th annual Renaissance 12 State Regional Art Exhibit at The Renaissance Center Visual Arts Gallery in Dickson/Nashville, Tenn.
Nawrocki has taught printmaking and fiber arts at MUW since 1970. He was selected the 2006 visual artist of the year by the Mississippi
Institute of Arts and Letters.
His works have appeared in more than 400 state, regional, national and international art competitions. He also has participated in shows in Korea, Poland, The Netherlands, Japan, Brazil, India, Germany, The Czech Republic and many others.
