Women’s Center to Host Resource Conference

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship at Mississippi University for Women will host a Resource Conference for New and Existing Entrepreneurs on Jan. 27.

The conference will be from 1:30 to 4 p.m. in the Stark Recreation Center, room P203, on the MUW campus. The conference is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required.

Assistant director of the WCE, Yolanda Cook said, “The purpose of the resource conference is to give both new and existing entrepreneurs' an opportunity to become informed of the financial and non-financial small business resources throughout the state of Mississippi.”

The WCE is part of the statewide network of small business centers that utilize numerous resources to assist start-up and existing business owners. Services are focused on support, training and counseling in assisting business owners in finding solutions to specific problems.
