Threadgill Series presents holiday concert 

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Mississippi University for Women Foundation presents The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra featuring The Pied Pipers and Nancy Knorr Wednesday, Dec. 10 in the Rent Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra and The Pied Pipers will perform their holiday production, A Christmas Gift, featuring seasonal classics and original hits. The group has performed nationwide and is currently under the direction of Bill Tole.

Tickets for MUW, Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science and area students, faculty and staff are complimentary and underwritten by the MUW Foundation. The performance is funded by the Leslie Farrell Threadgill Lecture and Artist Series, an endowment established by her family to promote family and cultural influences, to advance the artistic and intellectual environment of the university and to strengthen the cultural bond between the university and the public.
