Bouse co-authors article for international journal
COLUMBUS, Miss. – Dr. Gary Bouse, Mississippi
University for Women’s vice president for
institutional advancement, co-authored an article
that appeared in the International Journal of
Educational Advancement earlier this year.
The article, “Presidential Satisfaction with
Development Programs in Research and Doctoral
Universities: A Comparison of Results from Surveys
in 1990 and 2000,” discusses the “importance of
fundraising in the modern university” as well as
what makes university presidents “satisfied and/or
dissatisfied with their institution’s development
efforts.”
Bouse, who has more than 17 years experience in
institutional advancement, co-wrote the article
while serving as vice president for university
advancement at Indiana State University.
The journal is published in conjunction with the
Association of Fundraising Professionals, previously
called the National Association of Fund Raising
Executives. Palgrave Macmillan, the publisher of the
journal, is located in England.
Bouse joined MUW in August.
