COLUMBUS, Miss. – Dr. Thomas Nawrocki, professor of art at Mississippi University for Women, recently had some of his artwork displayed at various shows and competitions across the country.

During the spring and summer of 2006, his work was on display at several exhibits across the state and nation. At the Meridian Museum of Art, his work was shown at the 33rd Annual Bi-State Art Competition and at the 15th Annual People’s Choice Art Competition. His work also was displayed at a group exhibition at the Southside Art Gallery in Oxford.

Beginning in September and continuing through the end of the year, Nawrocki’s work will be shown at several other galleries and exhibits around the country. These shows include “Music as Muse” at the International Print and Paper Exhibition in Somerville, N.J.; “Forging Connections,” the Mid America Print Council Members Juried Exhibition at Ohio University and “Continuum 5(0)” at the Peck School of Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
