COLUMBUS, Miss. – Mississippi University for Women will host Dr. Inonge Mbikusita-Lewanika, ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to the United States of America, on Thursday, Oct. 7.

MUW President Claudia Limbert said, “It is an honor to meet an ambassador and a double honor to have someone of Dr. Mbikusita-Lewanika’s caliber to visit MUW and Columbus. We are eager to show her the campus and the city and to learn more about Zambia and her work.”

While on campus, Mbikusita-Lewanika will meet with Dr. Limbert and tour the campus. She also will have lunch with students and faculty, speak to a class, tour antebellum homes and visit The Columbus-Lowndes Link Development Office.
