VanDyke receives $500 scholarship from Kappa Delta Epsilon
 

COLUMBUS, Miss. – Mississippi University for Women student Audra VanDyke of Columbus was awarded a $500 scholarship from the national honorary professional education fraternity Kappa Delta Epsilon (KDE).
   
VanDyke, who is president of the MU Chapter of KDE at MUW, was one of eleven recipients.
   
According to Dr. Barbara Hunt, MUW KDE advisor since 1996, there are about 30 students who are recommended for this scholarship from across the country. She added that a MUW KDE student has been awarded this scholarship every year since 1996.
   
Qualification includes a quality point average of 3.0 in the teacher education program.

VanDyke is a senior elementary education major.
