laboratory exercises in July
COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Division of Science and Mathematics at Mississippi
University for Women will offer a variety of laboratory exercises for
home schooled students in grades eighth through 12th.
The program is designed to give students an opportunity to conduct basic
laboratory exercises in the areas of physical science, biology and
environmental science.
Students will use different lab equipment with the help of science and
math faculty members. Some of the exercises will be conducted on local
field trips.
Activities for eighth and ninth grade students will be held July 6-9.
Sessions for 10th through 12th grade students will be held July 20-23.
Laboratories will be held in the recently renovated Parkinson Hall. Each
exercise will cost $10.
