COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Linda Burket, executive vice president and chief financial officer of American Eurocopter LLC, will talk about the changing roles of women in corporate leadership at Mississippi University for Women on Thursday, March 25.

The women’s leadership forum will be held at 6 p.m. in Nissan Auditorium of Parkinson Hall.

American Eurocopter is the American affiliate of Eurocopter, the largest helicopter manufacture in the world.

Burket has been employed by American Eurocopter LLC for 14 years in various capacities and currently manages finance, risk management, information systems, human resources and contract management. In June 2003, she was selected by EADS as one of 100 women to be honored at the Paris Air Show for her contributions to the aerospace industry. She was the only American selected for this distinguished honor.

Burket holds a BBA from the University of Texas, an MBA from the University of Dallas and is a CPA. A native of Texas, she currently resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

As part of the forum, MUW will award its first Woman of the Year Award to Ricki Rayner Garrett, a 1973 alumna and member of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning.
