McDaniel to serve as board member of esteemed art
organization
COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Mississippi University for Women alumna Patsy
McDaniel, also director of alumni relations at The W, will serve on the
Mississippi State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts as
a member of the board of directors.
The board lends vital support to the National Museum of Women in the
Arts in Washington, D.C. The directors assist in all areas of its mission
including membership, art events and art education.
They bring new ideas and enthusiasm while also highlighting artists and
art traditions from their respective geographical areas to enrich
communities and the state.
A scholarship will be awarded to a W art student in the fall to aid in
continuing their studies. |
