MUW to hold orientation sessions
COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Offering a jump-start on college life, the Office of
Student Life at Mississippi University for Women will hold three new
student orientation sessions.
The freshman sessions will be held Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June
20 and Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27. The transfer session will be
held Tuesday, June 24.
Orientation provides an opportunity for future MUW students to get
acquainted with the campus and other students.
The sessions will include informative workshops for students as well as
their parents. Activities will include a welcome, student organization
displays, advising and fun-filled activities such as casino night and
Concerts on the Green.
Sessions in on-line registration will be offered for students to
familiarize them with the new on-line system offered at MUW. From
registration to payments, students will learn how to operate the on-line
system and handle everyday school functions.
