MUW faculty recital set for April 22
COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Mississippi University for Women will host a faculty
recital on Tuesday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m. in Poindexter Auditorium.
Participating are James Allen, associate professor of music; Dr.
Richard Bailey, assistant professor of music, Dr. Eric Daffron, associate
professor of English; Dr. Cherry Dunn, instructor in music; and Nancy
Kennedy, a MUW alumna of the class of 1956.
Dunn, a soprano, will sing several pieces accompanied by Bailey,
trumpet, and Daffron, piano, and by Kennedy, piano. Allen and Kennedy,
duo-pianists, will perform several pieces together, and Bailey and Daffron
will perform together.
The program will include a variety of music, and it is free and open to
the public.
