MUW to host W Day
COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Mississippi University for Women will open its doors
to prospective college students on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22
as part of its annual W Day weekend.
W Day is an opportunity for potential students and their parents to
tour the campus, learn about the academic divisions and meet current
students.
Admissions Director Terri Heath said, "W Day is our spring open house,
and it is truly a great time for everyone to come because it gives
prospective students the opportunity to see firsthand what The W has to
offer."
This year's event will include registration, community displays,
dinner, karaoke and the traditional Songfest, where social clubs and other
organizations perform dance routines to popular tunes.
Saturday morning will include campus-wide displays, inflatable games, a
picnic and crawfish boil and entertainment by Night Train.
