MUW to host annual arts and craft fair

COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Mississippi University for Women is gearing up for its annual arts and crafts fair on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The fair, sponsored by the Student Programming Board, will be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in Hogarth Student Center and will offer one-stop shopping.

"This is a good opportunity to buy some really unique gifts for the holidays," said Joe Lowder, MUW assistant director of student life.

Last year more than 45 local and regional vendors participated, featuring items such as jewelry, handmade purses, quilts, glassware, pottery, baked goods and more.

The cost to set up a table is $25 and $10 for an additional table.
