Students who wish to minor in psychology must complete 19 hours of psychologycourses as described below.

Take all of the following Minor Courses (7 hours):

PSY 101 GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY 3

PSY 201 INTRODUCTION TO APA STYLE 1

PSY 304 ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY 3

Choose one of the following Social and Personality Courses (3 hours):

PSY 305 PERSONALITY 3

PSY 370 SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY 3

Choose one of the following Experimental Courses (3 hours):

PSY 320 PHYSIOLOGICAL PSYCHOLOGY 3

PSY 340 SENSATION AND PERCEPTION 3

PSY 405 COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY 3

PSY 406 COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE 3

Choose two Elective Psychology Courses (6 hours)

Courses may not be used to meet both minor and major requirements. Students taking advanced courses are expected to complete required prerequisites.
