OPERATING DETAILS:

1. Directors Council acts as a liaison between MUW directors and the Administrative Council. The functions of the Directors Council are to identify and address the issues of MUW directors and convey those concerns to the Administrative Council and the President of the University.

2. The Directors Council is composed of MUW directors that supervise personnel and are budget managers. Directors eligible for membership on faculty senate are not eligible to serve on the Directors Council.

3. The chair of the Directors Council will serve as the representative to Administrative Council. The chair, vice chair, and secretary will be elected from the Council annually. Their term of office begins with the fall semester each year and extends through the summer terms of that academic year.

4. Directors Council meets the 1st Tuesday of each month.  The Directors Council Chair or President of the University may call additional meetings if necessary.

5. The function of the Directors Council is to enhance operating efficiencies, improve communication between areas, and come up with ideas for better working procedures in the management and daily operations of all departments.

6. Concurrence of a two-thirds majority of voting members is required for a motion to pass.
