I am recommending cancellation of P.S. 5603 – Academic Standard Board/Student Conduct Board.

Rationale:
 

1. The Academic Standard Board is now referred to as the Student Grievance Committee.  Membership, purpose, and procedures are noted in the Student Handbook (pp. 10-11 of the 2001-2002 copy) and on pages 55-56 of the 2001-2002 Catalog.  Academic policies and procedures are noted on pages 54-55 of the catalog and page 12 of the student handbook.

2. The Student Conduct Board is now referred to as the University Student Court and falls under the jurisdiction of the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Student Government Association.  Membership, purpose and procedures are explicit in the Judicial Code, which is part of the SGA  Constitution, and student judicial procedures are noted in the Student Handbook, pages 51-55.
