PURPOSE:  To define the functions and membership of the Administrative Council

OPERATING DETAILS:
  1. The function of the Administrative Council is to facilitate university-wide communication and to serve as the initial policy review body.
  2. The Council is composed of the President, President’s Cabinet, Academic Council, Director’s Council, Faculty Senate Chair, Staff Council Chair, and Student Government Association President. Changes in the composition of the Council may be made by the President upon recommendation by the Administrative Council.
  3. The Council is chaired by the President. For purposes of policy review, the chair of the Administrative Council is the CAO.
  4. The Council typically meets at least once each month.  More frequent meetings may be called by the President.
