TITLE: Identification Cards

PURPOSE:  To establish university policy regarding faculty, staff, and student identification cards.

REVIEW DATE:  Reviewed annually in February
OPERATING DETAILS: 

1. All faculty and staff members will be issued a photograph identification card.

2. All students enrolled will be issued a photograph identification card.   Student identification cards must be validated each semester in the designated office and/or during registration.

3. Anyone who loses an identification card will report this loss to the Department of Public Safety. There is a replacement fee assessed for lost or stolen cards.

4. Students must possess, at all times, a valid student identification card and must surrender the ID card to any university official upon proper request.

5. Use of another person’s I.D. constitutes fraud and may result in disciplinary action.

6. Students must relinquish their card when withdrawing from the university.  Employees will relinquish identification cards when leaving the university’s employ.
