PURPOSE: To establish and maintain the parameters in which the Staff Council operates

OPERATING DETAILS:
  1. Staff Council acts as a liaison between the MUW staff and the Administrative Council. The functions of the Staff Council are to identify and address the issues of the MUW staff and to convey those concerns to the Administrative Council and President of the University.
  2. Staff Council is composed of elected representatives from the following six staff categories:
    Executive, Administrative and Managerial
    Professional Non-faculty
    Clerical and Secretarial
    Technical and Paraprofessional
    Skilled Crafts
    Service/Maintenance
     
  1. Staff Council meets monthly. The Staff Council President or President of the University may call additional meetings if necessary.
  2. It is the function of the Staff Council to promote effective communication between MUW Staff and the Administration and to provide a forum for discussion and reporting issues concerning the staff.
