PURPOSE:	To define the functions of the Financial Aid Committee

OPERATING DETAILS:

1. The function of the Financial Aid Committee is to consider appeals by students referred by the Director of Financial Aid when there is any question concerning an applicant’s eligibility and to assist in developing, implementing and evaluating policy and practice as requested by the Director.

 

2. Membership on the Committee is by appointment of the Chief Academic Officer for rotating three year terms. Membership consists of one faculty member from each college of the University and one member from the University at large.  The University Registrar, Director of Financial Aid, a representative from Student Services, and a representative from the Comptroller’s office will serve as ex officio members of the Committee.  Membership of the Committee will be unpublished.
