TITLE: Traffic and Parking Committee

PURPOSE: To set guidelines for MUW traffic committee

REVIEWER: Vice President for Administration and Finance

OPERATING DETAILS:

1. The Traffic and Parking Committee is charged with the responsibility of establishing campus regulations concerning vehicle use and parking and reviewing all appeals of traffic citations and making final judgment.

2. All recommendations for changes in traffic regulations will be referred to the traffic committee.

3. The committee reports directly to the Administrative Council.

4. The membership of the Traffic and Parking Committee will be as follows:

2 Resident Students 2 Commuting Students 2 Faculty Members 1 Career Staff Person 1 Administrator

The student members will be nominated by the SGA president and confirmed by Senate. The Faculty Council will appoint the faculty representatives. The Vice President for Academic Affairs will appoint the administrator and the career staff member.

5. The Chief of Security and the traffic secretary will serve as ex-officio members of the committee.

6. The committee will meet at least monthly to review all appeals.
