Operating Details
1. A committee consisting of the Dean for Student Development and three other administrators whom she appoints with the approval of the Administrative Council; one faculty member from the Science and Mathematics Division, one faculty member from the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Division, and two faculty members from the Humanities Division to be appointed by Faculty Council, and the Presidents of Mortar Board, Torch, Lantern and SGA shall serve as the screening and selection body.
2. Any full-time MUW student who has earned not less than 87 hours with an overall QPA of not less than 2.50 may submit an application to the Office of Student Development. Applications can by obtained from any division head, the Student Development office or the Student Union office. The procedure for the selection of Whos Who candidates shall be as follows:
-The Student Development office shall detach names from each application and assign a numerical identification to each application to prevent bias.
-Committee members shall review the applications within a specified amount of time as set by the office of Student Affairs.
-Each Committee member shall rank separately the categories of scholarship, community service and extra-curricular activities on a scale form 0-10.
-The results from all committee members will be tallied in order to obtain each candidates total ranking number.
-The totals for each candidate will be arranged in order from highest to lowest. The number of students chosen will be determined by the National Whos Who allocation for this university.
3. Students who receive Whos Who designation will be recognized at Awards Day.

All applicants must have an overall grade point average of 2.5 and have earned 87 hours.
Applications should be submitted to the Office of Student Development on or before October 8 of each year.
