Orientation Leaders

We know that transfer students and adults re-entering college have different concerns from first-time freshmen. For this reason, we offer a separate Orientation session for transfer students. As a transfer student, you are not new to college life, but each university differs in its registration procedures, academic requirements, and campus culture. During Orientation, you will learn about these topics as well as services that are available to you.

Orientation is a short (less than 8 hours), interactive program designed to give you maximum information in a minimum amount of time! Included in our program are sessions that provide you with an overview of Mississippi University for Women and insights into making a successful transition to the University.

Attire for Orientation
Casual clothing, especially comfortable shoes!
Most of all bring a big smile because tons of pictures will be taken at the birthday celebration!
