Multicultural Affairs

The Office of Multicultural Affairs provides a welcoming and supportive environment for minority students. This office
serves as a link between culturally diverse students and the University community. The mission of the Office of
Multicultural Affairs is to provide support services for students, to assist in the achievement of life goals and increase
academic, social, cultural, moral, and physical development. In addition, the director of Multicultural Affairs is
an advocate for the needs of the culturally diverse student population. Further, this office works with international students
before and after their arrival on campus and provides site
coordination for MUW's participation in the Mississippi Alliance for Minority Participation (MAMP). More information
