The Circulation desk is located to the left as you enter the library doors. Present your MUW ID card at this desk and a library staff member will barcode it for you. This card can also be used at the Mississippi State University library. However, books checked out at MSU must be returned to the Mitchell Memorial Library at MSU.

All circulating books are located on the second floor of Fant Library. Using the on-line catalogue these books can be found by searching author, title, subject or keyword. When a book has been located, return to the circulation desk and present your MUW ID card to check it out. Always remember to bring your ID with you when coming to the library.

Overdue fines are accumulated at $.25 per day per book. You may renew your books by bringing them into the library, they cannot be renewed over the phone. All fines must be paid before books can be renewed. If a book is lost while checked out in your name, the cost of replacement is $40.00 plus the fine that has accumulated. Students with overdue books or fines are flagged with the Registrar's office and cannot register for the next semester until this has been resolved.

All 'student use' computers located in the library are connected to the systems printer at the circulation desk. Copies sent to this printer are $.10 per page and are to be paid for on receipt.Note: Students have the option of emailing and/or downloading information to save printing costs.
