Mr. Jim Davidson,
Emeritus Professor of Paralegal Studies
JD, University of Mississippi. H.J. Davidson, Jr. was a faculty member at MUW
from 1975 to 2007, serving as
Director of the Paralegal Studies program the last nine
years. While teaching, he was also a practicing attorney,
having been admitted to all federal and state courts in the
State of Mississippi, including the Federal Fifth Circuit
Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Davidson's areas of practice included family law, corporate
law, real estate, estates, wills, and trusts, and personal
injury. He was been involved in several landmark decisions
such as, "Eskridge v. Bordens", "Ellis v. Ellis", and
"Thomas v. Hoffman-LaRoche". He was elected
Chancery Court Judge for the 14th District in 2007. |
