| CAREERS FOR HISTORIANS
Where have some MUW history majors
gone?
Terri Cisse ('97) went to Mali and then to the Divinity
School at Harvard University.
Holly Barnett (2000) went on to a
Master's in history with a concentration in public history
from Middle Tennessee State University and now works as an
architectural historian with the Tennessee Dept. of
Transportation.
Benjamin Alexander ('99) was a reporter for the Commercial
Dispatch in Columbus before moving on to be a journalist in
Meridian, Mississippi.
Mendy Carnathan ('05) became Director
of Student Activities at Martin Methodist College in
Tennessee.
Mike Renacker ('95) went on to an M.A. in historical
archeology at the University of West Florida, and became an
archaeologist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Vicksburg District, Mississippi.
John Harris ('05) went on to teach U.S. history at Hatley
High School, in Amory, Mississippi.

History majors to explore careers in various fields,
