What is the purpose of the committee?
This committee's fundamental purpose is community service.  Each semester, the committee hosts community service events that are open to all Hearin students and the MUW campus.  The events include a variety of services from collecting items for a community shelter to delivering Thanksgiving Baskets to elderly residents.  More notably, this committee plans the Hearin Alternative Break in which students travel to another community for intensive community service.
