Leadership Program Year 1: Getting to Know Yourself
Leadership 101 – a one-hour credit course with emphasis
on self-development
30 documented hours of campus/community volunteer work.
Participation in campus organization or club.
Participation in two Hearin sponsored events each
semester.
Year 2: Getting to Know Others
Leadership 201 – A one-hour credit course with emphasis
on the psychology of leadership and interpersonal skills.
30 documented hours of campus/community volunteer work.
Active leadership role in campus organization or club.
Participation in two Hearin sponsored events each semester.
Year 3: Giving to the Community
Leadership 250 – a two hour credit course for junior
transfer students that combines Leadership 101 and 201.
Leadership 301 – a one hour credit course with emphasis on
servant-leadership.
Leadership role in campus and community clubs.
Participation in 30 hours of community service.
Participation in two Hearin sponsored events each semester.
Year 4: Giving Back to the Campus
Leadership 401 – a one hour credit course with
emphasis on
leadership by example.
Serving as a mentor to new Hearin Leadership participants.
Continued participatory involvement in campus and community
clubs.
Participation in two Hearin sponsored events each semester.
Participation in 30 hours of community service. |
