Nails and Yells

September 2 nd, 3:00-5:00pm

Come spend quality time with senior adults at a nursing home as we paint their nails and play bingo.

Operation Ukraine

September 28 th, 2:00-5:00pm

Come spend an afternoon helping pack and move supplies to be sent to Ukraine.

Alternative Break

October 16 th-18 th, Location TBA

Spend a weekend with other Hearin Leaders doing intensive community service in Mississippi.

Canned Food Drive Competition

October 1 st- November 6 th

Join the competition by collecting canned goods with your residence hall. Commuters can drop off cans in Cochran.

Adopt-A-Highway

October 10 th, 9am-1pm, Meet in Cochran Ballroom at 8:45am

Spend the day helping make Columbus even more beautiful by picking up trash off the sides of the highway.

Thanksgiving Basket Assembly

November 20 th, 10am-5pm, Cochran 3 rd Floor

Assemble Thanksgiving Baskets using items collected from campus clubs and organizations.

Thanksgiving Basket Delivery

November 23 rd, Time and Location TBA

Deliver Thanksgiving blessings to those in need by providing food for their Thanksgiving dinner

 There will be sign up sheets for all these events in the Office of Student Life
3 weeks prior to the event. 

Scholarship recipients are required to participate in and document at least 30 hours of community service over the course of the year.  All of these events will count toward community service hours.  Remember to have your community service log signed.  For questions, please contact the Hearin Office at 662.241.7858.
