Federal
Work Study Information
Students who filled the FAFSA and are enrolled at MUW may
be awarded Federal Work Study employment. These part-time employment opportunities are available at MUW
to allow students to earn money for school by
taking an on-campus job.
Students who have been awarded Federal Work Study are
notified of this work opportunity through the official
Financial Aid Award Letter. If awarded Federal Work Study,
you must go to the
Financial Aid Center to see the Work Study Coordinator to
complete the necessary forms to select a position and begin
work. The Federal Eligibility Verification Form and the
Federal Employment Authorization Form must be completed
before a job can be confirmed. When these are completed,
students will be referred to the Career Development Center
to review available job listings.
for the Application to begin that process. Note:
You must secure a position by the end of the the 3rd week of
classes or your award will be cancelled and those funds will
be allocated to another student.
Students who are not eligible for Federal Work Study
or who were not awarded work study may
also visit the Career Development Center, 4th
Floor, Cochran Hall to review job listings. Review job
listings only that are available for "non-federal" employment. Click here to
Review Jobs and complete an on-line application.
