The W uses a site known as Banner Web to manage all of your records for your entire time at the University.  Banner Web can be found in the WConnect portal. You will receive your MUW ID number (950xxxxxx) in your acceptance letter from the Office of Admissions.

In this section we’ll walk you through navigating Banner Web to manage your Financial Aid information.

How to log-in to WConnect

  • Visit www.muw.edu
  • Select WConnect (top right corner of the website)
  • Enter your username, which is your NetID and password.  If you are unsure of your username and password, click on First Time User.
  • Select Banner Web under the QuickLaunch section.
  • Select Student Services
  • Select Financial Aid

How to view your award and accept loans

  • Select “Financial Aid”
  • Select “Financial Aid Dashboard”
  • Select “Questions from the Financial Aid Office” and respond to the 4 questions
  • Logout, or refresh, after approximately 10 minutes to access the award offer tab
  • Select “Award Offer” to view awards
  • Scroll down to loans
  • Click “Select”
  • Select “Submit” to take action on Direct Loan offer
  • www.studentaid.gov “Entrance Counseling” & “Master Promissory Note”

 How to view your financial aid requirements

  • Select “Financial Aid”
  • Select “Financial Aid Dashboard”
  • Select “Home”
  • Satisfied and Unsatisfied requirements will be listed here

How to view your student account for charges/award payments

  • Select “Students”
  • Select “Account Information”
  • View your balance and account summary here
  • Select “Make a payment” to use card

How to view your financial aid satisfactory academic progress

  • Select “Financial Aid”
  • Select “Financial Aid Dashboard”
  • Select “Satisfactory Academic Progress”
  • “Warning/Probation” indicates that you are in jeopardy of losing your federal financial aid
  • “Failing SAP Rules” status indicates a failure to meet GPA and/or completion rate requirement
  • “MAX” status indicates student has not completed a degree within the maximum time frame
  • “Passing SAP Rules” indicates you are meeting the requirements and will continue to receive aid · Please review the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy for additional information
