Disaster Preparedness Drill - 9/3

THIS IS A DRILL.

AN EVACUATION HAS BEEN ORDERED OF ALL BUILDINGS WITHIN 300 YARDS OF TRAIN TRACKS ON 10 STREET SOUTH. ALL OTHERS, SHELTER IN PLACE.
A train collision involving a car has resulted in a chemical spill. An evacuation has been ordered for all buildings within 300 yards of the tracks at 10th street south.
This is a drill.

Leonado da Vinci's Vitruvian ManServing approximately 300 students, the Department of Health and Kinesiology (HK) offers a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Health Education and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Kinesiology, Public Health Education and General Studies. The B.S. degree in Kinesiology includes options in Exercise Science, Physical Education, and Pre-Physical Therapy. The department also houses the Pre-Occupational Therapy program and minors in Exercise Science and Public Health Education.

Our department strives to promote healthy living with an emphasis on physical activity, sport, and exercise. Graduates are prepared to work as practitioners in schools, communities, worksites, healthcare settings and government agencies. 

 


 

Exercise Science

Exercise ScienceThe B.S. in Kinesiology - Exercise Science option prepares students to work in the health/fitness industry or to work with athletes in a non-school setting.  Students take courses in the biological and physical sciences in preparation for their coursework in the Exercise Science program.

M.S. Health Education

Health EducationThe Master of Science in Health Education is a fully online program that consists of thirty-three credit-hours of coursework and six credit-hours of either an internship or thesis. The curriculum includes instruction in Health Education program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
