Creating Assessments in WebCT

This class will teach you how to create quizzes in WebCT. The class will show you how to setup your quizzes. The class will also show you how to have WebCT grade your quizzes automatically and place the grades in your electronic gradebook.

Getting Started With WebCT

If you are new to WebCT then this is the class for you! The class will begin with an overview of all of the tools that are available in WebCT. The class will cover the basics on how to upload content into WebCT. The class will also discuss introductory design techniques for Online courses.

Introduction to PowerPoint for Instruction

If you have ever wanted to incorporate the use of PowerPoint in your classes this is the class for you. This class assumes that you know absolutely nothing about Microsoft PowerPoint. The class will show you how to create a basic presentation in PowerPoint. The class will also discuss techniques that enhance presentation design.

Student Management in WebCT

This class will focus on how to manage your students in WebCT. This class will show you how to setup an electronic gradebook. The class will cover how to selectively release content to students. The class will also cover how to add and delete students in your course.

Using WebCT's Communication Tools

This class will discuss the various communication tools available in WebCT, including the Whiteboard and the Course Calendar. The class will not only describe how to use the communication tools, but will also provide an indepth look at how the communication tools can be utilized to make the course environment richer.

Working With Content Modules in WebCT

This class will focus on how to use the Content Module feature in WebCT. The class will cover how to setup Content Modules and how to organize your information within the Content Modules. The class will also cover how to zip files, upload, and unzip files into a Content Module. This allows for quick upload of a large ammount of information.
