Services/Resources

Cable Television--Cable One is our cable provider for the residence halls.  We offer over 60 cable stations directly to your room.  All you need is a cable connector for your TV to the wall.

Laundry--Caldwell and Gregory are the laundry providers on campus.  We offer free (yes--free!) laundry for our residential students complete with an electronic monitoring service (Laundry Alert) that lets you know when a machine is being used or is ready to be used.  You will be provided information regarding this service on move-in day.

USA Today Readership Program
--We offer free copies of the USA Today, Clarion Ledger and Commercial Dispatch (Columbus local paper) for all our residential students.  There are bins in the main lobbies of each residence hall.

Phones
--NOTE--Beginning in the fall of 2007 we will no longer offer free land-line phone service.  There will be some common area phones in each hall for student use.

Internet
--we offer free high-speed internet for each residential student.  Just make sure you bring an Ethernet cable to connect your computer.

Reslife Cinema Channel
--we offer a movie channel that you, as a resident, get to choose which new movies you would like to see each month.  Currently we offer 12 movies per month.  Many of these films are newly released before they get to the video stores.

Mail
--while you will pick up your mail in Hogarth Student Center at the post office, Kincannon Hall is where you will come to pick up any deliveries by FedEx or UPS.

Maintenance Requests
--if you have any problems with anything pertaining to your stay with us, please contact your ACA and let them know the problem so they can put in a work order to have the problem taken care of immediately.

Parking
--there is ample parking at MUW but you must have a parking decal.  Contact MUW Police for information on obtaining your permit.

Fitness Center & Recreation Areas
--Campus Recreation offers a free fitness center for student use for basketball, volleyball, etc.  In spring 2007, the new Stark recreation center opened for student use (complete with a swimming pool, indoor track, workout facility, basketball courts, dance studios and much more!).
