History

Silhouette was organized in September 1951 on the steps of Reneau Hall. Twenty sophomores pledged twenty freshman in order to bring friendship and love among the two classes.

Our purpose is to unite the aims of the girls of Silhouette in the bonds of friendship and love and to encourage the high ideals and standards of the Silhouettes. Through the activities and many service projects sponsored by the Silhouettes, we work together toward a common goal -- everlasting sisterhood.
