The Mission of O.W.L.S. is to allow adult learners to
fully enjoy the college experience by providing an opportunity for involvement
on campus. Our student organization allows adult learners to be a visible part of the
student community, to meet new people, and form lasting friendships.

- Identifies adult learners at MUW
- Identifies the needs of adult learners
- Provides a supportive academic climate
- Monitors the recruitment, retention, and status of adult learners
- Recommends changes in policy, practice, and procedures that negatively impact adult learners

Linda Halbert has been with us since the very beginnings of our student organization.
She has been its backbone and has been a strong supporter for adult learners.
Our University President
Dr. Claudia Limbert has also been an integral part of O.W.L.S.
