COMING EVENTS

OKTOBERFEST

AED will have a booth again this year at MUW's Oktoberfest. This is our number one fund raiser of the year.  We will grill burgers and hotdogs again this year.  Come out and give us a hand and lend your support. A good time will be had by all.

GUEST SPEAKER

October 13, 1999 Noon

Kelli Sheets, Admission Coordinator at the University of Health Sciences School of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City Missouri. Kelli will speak to us regarding Osteopathy and admissions requirements for UHS. There will be a dutch treat lunch afterwards for students who wish to discuss things further.

PROJECT PATCH

It has been proposed that AED form a clown troupe, in the spirit of Patch Adams, to visit local hospitals and nursing homes to entertain the patients.  This will be a double benefit as it will give the clowns exposure to patients and will give the patients a bright spot in their day.  If you are interested please contact Jean Randle, Mike Umland or Dr. Carson.
This will be a two semester project, not just a one time thing.
