To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of self, others, and the social world

To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic research methods used in the study of human behavior in a social context.

To apply psychological and sociological concepts, theories and research to individual and social phenomena.

Instructor with academic credentials in PSY or SOC or an appropriately related social science.

 

Course content will include a minimum of three contact hours related to gender (e.g., sex, gender, sex differences, gender differences, gender roles, gender role socialization, gender stereotypes, gender identity, sex discrimination, violence against women).
