If you see the world as the Bard did, then you've found the right place. The W offers a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, a concentration in Theatre Education, and, through our partnership with Accademia dell'Arte in Tuscany, Italy, a Masters of Fine Art in Physical Theatre.

For those who wish to teach theatre in a K-12 setting, the state's first-ever bachelor's degree with an emphasis in theatre education is now available through the Department of Theatre at The W.

Physical Theatre, MFA

The Master of Fine Arts in Physical Theatre is offered in conjunction with the Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy. The program combines the study of movement/dance, Italian language, vocal study, and music with the study of circus arts, the techniques of the commedia dell’arte, and contemporary mime/masks.
