Dr. Brock holds an A.A. from Mississippi Gulf Community College, a B.A. in History from Mississippi State University, a M.S.B.A. in Information Systems from Mississippi State University, and a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems and Workforce Development from Mississippi State University. Dr. Brock’s research interests include the effectiveness of distance education, cost vs. effectiveness of multimedia use in distance education, and distance education design for the millennial learner. Previously, Dr. Brock served as the LMS administrator and Director for the Center for Teaching Excellence at MUW. She has also worked as an Extension Computer Instructor at Mississippi State University where she developed customized computer application training for Extension employees and clientele and aided in the construction and maintenance of both frame relay circuits and interactive video classrooms.
