This project began on August 1st. Construction is scheduled for completion by early spring. Interior finish work has begun. Most outside site work has been completed except for the final grading.

Please do not enter this construction site at any time for any reason.  The
temporary parking lot behind Martin is CLOSED.  Do not park between the
campus fence on 11th street and the construction fence.  Damage to your
vehicles may occur from vehicles entering the construction site.

Shackleford:

Construction began on November 1st. Delivery of the stairs will hopefully occur by the middle of February. This project has a completion date of July 31, 2007. MSMS is occupying the building during construction. Interior work will mostly be done during holidays.



Painter:

Shafer and Associates have begun the study of the building for the Mechanical renovations and elevator addition. Design work will continue over the next several months. Preliminary designs are underway. Submittals to Archives & History will begin shortly.



Storm Drainage and Street Repair:

The storm drainage project plans have been submitted to the Bureau of Buildings. An approval will allow this project to go out for bids. The first phase of the project will clean and video almost all of the storm drains on the south half of campus. Any remaining funds will be used for street repair.



Please be careful this next month as most of the projects still involve outdoor construction and site cleanup.
