Centennial

The Centennial, Honors, University, and Reneau scholarships are designed to allow superior students, entering college for the first time, to participate in intellectual endeavors without concern for cost.  Centennial scholarships cover general tuition, out-of-state tuition (if applicable), room/board, and a small book stipend.  These renewable scholarships range from $36,196 to $59,360 over a four year period.  This scholarship also includes a one time award of $5,000 to be used toward a study abroad program sponsored by the Ina E. Gordy Honors College.  To be considered for these scholarships, students must meet both of the following criteria and attend Scholars’ Day:

  • Minimum ACT composite score of 24 or SAT score of 1090

  • Minimum 3.0 college prep curriculum grade point average

Students who receive the Centennial will be required to participate fully in the Residential Honors Program of the Ina E. Gordy Honors College.  The Residential Honors Program is an innovative living-learning experience for MUW’s most illustrious scholarship holders.

 

Honors Award

 

Honors Award is our second most prestigious awards and the average amount is $25,483 over a four year period.  This scholarship also includes a one time award of $2,500 to be used toward a study abroad program sponsored by the Ina E. Gordy Honors College.  To be considered for these awards, students must meet both of the following criteria and attend Scholars’ Day:

  • Minimum ACT composite score of 24 or SAT score of 1090

  • Minimum 3.0 college prep curriculum grade point average

University

 

The average amount of this award is $16,000 over a four year period.  To be considered for this scholarship, students must meet both of the following requirements and attend Scholars’ Day:

Reneau

 

The average amount of this award is $12,600 over a four year period.  To be considered for this scholarship, students must meet both of the following requirements and attend Scholars’ Day:

  • Minimum ACT composite score of 24 or SAT score of 1090

  • Minimum 3.0 college prep curriculum grade point average
