Frequently Asked Questions
What will
I do at Scholars' Day?
Students who attend Scholars' Day have a unique
opportunity to experience MUW firsthand. During your
visit, you will meet MUW faculty, staff, and students; tour
campus; and learn more about what MUW can offer you.
Most importantly, you will also be competing for four of
MUW's most prestigious scholarships. Students will be
interviewed by an honors committee to determine Scholars'
Day awards.
What
should I wear to Scholars' Day?
We recommend that students wear professional dress.
Will I get
a scholarship?
Everyone who attends Scholars' Day will receive one of
the four scholarships offered. However, there are a
limited number of Centennial Scholarships and Honors Awards
that are given out.
How are
Centennial recipients chosen?
MUW considers a holistic view of the student when
evaluating Scholars' Day candidates. All pieces of the
student's Scholars' Day application, as well as the
on-campus interview and essay, are taken into consideration.
Centennial scholars are chosen for their academic
achievements as well as their academic potential.
When will
I know about my scholarship?
Scholars' Day candidates will be notified of their
scholarship awards usually within one month.
