     2.  One of my classes is not showing up in Blackboard. What should I do?
First check Banner Web to see if your course is listed. If your course is listed, it will
appear in Blackboard on the the first day of class or when the instructor makes the course

      3.  How do I get a Blackboard Account?
Blackboard accounts are only given to currently enrolled students, instructors, course
builders, course graders, teacher assistants, and employees who assist with maintaining
the system.  These accounts are created with an automated process.

      4.  When will I gain access to the Blackboard System?
Once an instructor is assigned a course in Banner, access is typically given access
to Banner within 24 hours.  The courses are generally made available to instructors
at least a month in advance.  Once students are enrolled in courses, they are typically
given access to the system within 24 hours. They are given access to courses on
            the first day of class.

      5.   I am an instructor, and I will be teaching in Blackboard during the next term.
What do I have to do to get my course to show up in Blackboard ?

Nothing.  A shell for your course is created automatically.  Your students are also automatically
             loaded into that Blackboard shell.

      6.  I am an instructor, and I do not teach courses online.  However, I would like to have a
shell created  in Blackboard for my course. Is that possible?

Yes, it is possible.  A shell is automatically created for every course. The students are also
automatically loaded into those shells. The choice of using it or not is left up to the  instructor.

      7.   Why is my Course Menu missing?

If you look to the left side of the screen, there is a tab. This tab allows you to show your course
menu and hide your course menu. The purpose of this tab is to allow you to have more
workspace. If you ever look on your screen, and your course menu does not appear, selecting
this tab should solve the problem.

       11.  Why aren't my course videos playing correctly?

There are a number of reasons why the videos are not playing correctly, but this is the most
common. In most cases the computers have had a codec error. Here is a possible solution.

Windows users may want to download the following:
               http://download.cnet.com/Media-Player-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-10749065.html

MAC users may want to download the following:
               http://www.videolan.org/vlc

Click the link on the right to download VLC. Download it and it will put a file on your
computer named "vlc-1.1.10.1.dmg. Run the .dmg and click on the VLC icon. The next box will
ask you if you are sure if you want to open it, click on "Open". The player will open and then
you'll go to File and  Open File. Select the video and click Open

      12.  How do I reset or change my password in Blackboard?

First, go to muw.blackboard.com. Then select "Forgot Your Password?".  You will then have
two options. You can either enter your First Name, Last Name, and Username under   the
Username Option, or you can enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email under the Email
Address Option.  After either option is complete, select the submit button. Here is a video that
