Meet with an Advisor
The Advising Center is an academic resource center for Mississippi University for Women faculty members, staff, and students. The Advising Center also is a
resource for newly admitted and other prospective students. The Center is
governed by Academic Affairs and is charged with providing advising services. The Advising Center staff is knowledgeable regarding general academic policies and procedures and university core curriculum requirements. Learn More
Register for Classes
(Before beginning the registration process, you must see your assigned advisor
to approve your schedule and get your registration access pin (RAP)
Log onto MUW homepage (http://www.muw.edu) and click on BANNER WEB.

Deadlines -- Courses may be added or dropped without penalty during the first days
of classes in a semester via Banner Web. Students should check the academic calendar for all important dates concerning dropping a course, adding a course, or changing the status of a course. Deadlines are enforced.
Drop Procedure -- Students may drop classes via Banner Web through the last day
to add a class. After that date (consult the Academic Calendar) the drop process
begins with the advisor, and procedures are printed on the drop form. The drop transaction is not final until the form is submitted to the Registrar's Office. Failure to complete the process may result in loss of credit (if the course is not added properly)
or receipt of a failing grade (if course is not dropped properly).
