Tutoring Schedule

Tutoring is provided for selected courses at no cost to MUW students.
- With trained peer tutors
- In most basic core curriculum courses
- In open lab settings
- By individual appointment
- In test review sessions
- In some residence halls
- With computer tutorials

Tutor QualificationsQualifications for becoming a peer tutor
• Be classified as a sophomore or above
• Feel confident in your academic area
• Have an above average grade in your academic area
• Be able to demonstrate good study habits
• Place a high priority on helping others
• Be recommended by two faculty members
• Demonstrate good work habits
• Students who have taken the course to be tutored at MUW will be given preference over those who took the course elsewhere
