Tutoring Schedule

 

Students in Tutoring Lab

Tutoring is provided  for selected courses at no cost to MUW students. 
  • With trained peer tutors
  • In most basic core curriculum courses
  • In open lab settings
  • By individual appointment
  • In test review sessions
  • In some residence halls
  • With computer tutorials
       
    Become a peer tutor.
    Tutor Qualifications

    Qualifications for becoming a peer tutor 
     • Be classified as a sophomore or above
     • Feel confident in your academic area
     • Have an above average grade in your academic area
     • Be able to demonstrate good study habits
     • Place a high priority on helping others
     • Be recommended by two faculty members
     • Demonstrate good work habits
     • Students who have taken the course to be tutored at MUW will  be given preference over those who took the course elsewhere
